For Ardent, a new Parisian restaurant in Faubourg-Montmartre, David-Olivier Descombes, founder of the DODA.A agency, has designed an airy space bathed in light thanks to large sliding glass doors.
In the style of an industrial loft, he favoured raw and authentic materials.

The natural wood flooring is combined with polished concrete. The leather seats have been kept in their original colour, with the architect remaining faithful to the intrinsic beauty of the material, echoing the restaurant’s unpretentious cuisine.

In the same quest for simplicity, the black granite tables and counters contrast with the white tiled walls.
While retaining their simplicity, many of the furnishings (console table, bench, shelves, etc.) have been custom-made. They are both functional and decorative, enhanced by lighting, ceramics and other objects.

Finally, the largely open kitchen stands out with its burnt wood panelling. It houses an imposing grill, the true star of this establishment dedicated to fire-cooked cuisine.
