Le Nid
L'Isle Adam, Ile-de-France, France
In the riverside town of L’Isle-Adam, north of Paris, DODA.A brings a tropical breeze to the
banks of the Oise with Le Nid, a new restaurant offering a sensory escape. With its 172 m2 terrace overlooking the water, the setting invites relaxation and indulgence.
Drawing from both colonial charm and traditional brasserie codes, the design balances elegance and comfort. The terrace, edged by a sculpted balustrade and overlooked by an upper-level walkway, echoes Louisiana-style mansions. Upstairs, a glass roof floods the space with natural light and offers panoramic river views.
True to DODA.A’s design ethos, materials are animated by light and color. On the ground floor, Terrazzo flooring brightens the space, while green marble insets in the bar counter add a refined, poetic touch. Upstairs, mirrored panels inset into alcoves bounce light into every corner. With a six meter ceiling height, the glass roof is crowned by vibrant orange fabric pendants that glow like miniature suns, transitioning from daylight to a soft evening ambiance.
Whether dining on the terrace, rooftop, or indoors, Le Nid celebrates conviviality and shared meals—with fire, flavor, and design at its core.
