Logement M
Bois Colombes, Ile-de-France, France
In a dense residential area of Bois-Colombes, DODA.A designed and built a new two-unit housing project on the site of a former pavilion. This thoughtful densification approach balances architectural expression with urban sensitivity.
The new structure is set back from the street, creating privacy and quiet while maintaining a respectful presence in the neighborhood. The symmetrical composition is defined by two dormer windows that emphasize verticality and rhythm.
The building rises over three floors with a dark tile roof and light-toned rendered façades, subtly framed by minimal window surrounds. Its proportions, clean detailing, and volume control give it a contemporary feel while echoing the scale of the surrounding houses.
A low masonry wall along the street, punctuated by a clean white gate, defines the property’s entry while maintaining visual harmony with the adjacent buildings. This project exemplifies a discreet yet ambitious approach to urban housing—respecting context, optimizing space, and delivering generous, well-oriented homes with lasting appeal.
