Maison B
Dive sur Mer, Normandie, France
Located in Dives-sur-Mer, in the heart of the Côte Fleurie, this expansive plot enjoys sweeping views of the Pays d’Auge countryside and the sea beyond. The project involves the construction of a contemporary two-story villa with six bedrooms and an outdoor pool, oriented to embrace the surrounding landscape.
Designed with clean lines, the villa takes the form of a simple rectangle with a double- pitched zinc roof. The gable ends are clad in white-painted brick. On the ground floor, floor- to-ceiling glass doors seamlessly connect the living spaces with the terrace and pool area.
At the rear, two bedrooms and a cozy lounge open onto a more private garden space.
Upstairs, the roofline lifts and folds in an asymmetrical play of volumes, revealing on one side a shared terrace for the upper bedrooms, and on the other, a large dormer window lighting up a game room.
The landscape design focuses on maximizing panoramic views of the countryside and sea. Access is via the rear of the villa, adjacent to a carport. Facing the sea, a pétanque court and a generous 240 m² terrace with a linear pool extend from the main living room, forming a continuous indoor-outdoor experience.
