The project renovates and raises the original house to create a residence with three flats, a swimming pool and a spa.
On the street side, the building has been redesigned to feature three volumes, a large central volume set back and flanked by two symmetrical volumes. The ground floor is covered with white plaster, while the upper floor is clad in wood, echoing the roof structure. Large balconies adorn the upper floor. At the rear, the more sober façade is complemented by private terraces at garden level.
Three apartments, with three, four and five rooms, are arranged around a reception hall. The five-room duplex occupies the entire west wing of the building, while the four-room apartment is on the garden level and the three-room apartment is on the upper floor.
Opposite the building, a swimming pool with spa occupies the centre of the plot. The landscaping minimises overlooking while isolating the property from the street. The complex blends into the seaside setting of the neighbourhood, with its volumes and architecture reminiscent of Andernau.
