Boulevard Saint Germain? The Mediterranean? A Mediterranean brasserie!
For this restaurant project, DODA.A proposed combining the world of the Parisian brasserie, so dear to this legendary boulevard, with the colours of the Mediterranean.
The concept is simple: retain a traditional layout while incorporating distinctive materials such as terracotta, old wood and plants.
Punctuated with vibrant colours, the interiors buzz around a counter made of handcrafted glazed terracotta tiles, a custom-made bench covered in curry-coloured leather, tables alternating between marble and wood, and traditional cane rattan furniture.
The ensemble is topped by a pergola adorned with a plant ceiling in shades of white, rust and multiple shades of green.
The Orion green façade and the plant-covered terrace offer a warm and relaxed atmosphere, giving pride of place to bright colours and traditional planters.
The basement, meanwhile, offers a more intimate atmosphere, where raw walls, wood panelling, old parquet flooring and traditional floor tiles sit alongside a small, weathered counter.
